'Morning all!! I have recently gotten a 'valver and had forgotten that on the bx hatch back the rear wiper only works when you press the button, however according to the book the estate wiper has two positions, a light push gets the washer going but a firm press gets the switch to click as it latches and works the wiper constantly until you press it again to unlatch it.
As such I'd like to get an estate switch and retrofit it to my 'valver. I'm open to offers on this part if anyone has one kicking around - I was thinking about £20 posted??
let me know either way,
/Jay

Yup - a bit more involved than just changing a switch sadly.

Re: wanted estate rear wiper switch in black
While i knew the wiring was different, about 3 month ago i did try simply changing the switch from normal to estate, ended up with no rear wiper, no squirt and no illumination. It was a NOS switch as well. As yet i haven't managed to find a wiring schematic that covers the estate switch, so i might have to reverse engineer the schematic off a working car unless someone has an estate specific wiring diagram?

Still looking for a switch - even if I have to wire it in from scratch.
