Breaking 1991 BX 19TZD Non Turbo Hatch (The Red Shed)
Sadly the "Red Shed" has reached the end of the road, an altercation with a ditch and some black ice have left it beyond economical repair (nsf corner took the brunt of it and the subframe and steering is bent aswell as the newly welded front panel) .
Thankfully George and his other half were unhurt asides a very dented pride so if anyone needs any parts please let me know as George isnt much of a forum user plus is understandably a little upset about it all.
You may remember since I purchased the car last Sept I fitted new clutch, cambelt, tensioner and waterpump, rear arm bearing, rear spheres, complete new exhaust (front to back).
The grey Zenith interior is already taken (by me) as will a few other trim parts.
Current mileage is 130k, but had lots of history including headgasket replacement.
It cant hang around too long so any bits you need then please get in touch.
As its late model it has remote locking (no rear 1/4 windows) two tone bumper (rear), etc.

As mentioned on Facebook, I'd be interested in a full set of spheres depending on price. Sad news but glad George is ok.

That IS a shame - another old stalwart gone but thankfully no injuries to people. Would like the left and right hand dash top tweeter covers. Suitable remuneration I leave up to you/George...

Hi Eoin,
I will make a list, the plan is to go up next Sunday in a estate car and grab a load of parts. I think the plan is to get a small cheap runaboout as it seems BX's arent lucky for everyone!

The left hand size panels are all caved in, the speedlines will be available (good tyres) once the nsf wheel is checked for damage etc.
The front splitter is fine though as are the right hand side doors.

I would be interested in the glass sunroof section, hopefully the metal frame is in good condition?

Ide be up for the splitter Tim,
Also the spare wheel carrier and the clamp that holds it up[2 parts].
Terrible shame though, after all that work. No wonder George is upset. My sympathies to him. When the roads are so bad with black ice, i wont venture out unless its in my 4x4.

Ok Andy
The car is in Skegness, just need to agree prices with George (be generous if you can as he cant claim on insurance and stands to loose a fortune), could any interested parties please PM me with requirements and prices offered.
Thanks
