gear linkage.

Post by ace_the_bass »

after my financial situation improving considerably i've decided that its time to get the BX back on the road and spend a few £'s on it.
i'm going to need a few different bits and bobs (exhaust system, possibly new radiator, little bit of welding etc etc) but what i need most of all is my gear linkage sorting out......as i mentioned in technical section the gear stick went all floopy a few months back and the AA bodged it back together with some tape for me to drive home. as its been suggested its quite possibly the plastic bushing thats worn away and caused things to come loose.
does anyone have anything like this knocking about that i might be able to buy or put me in touch with someone who might?
your help on this would be greatly appreciated as i now have the resources to acctualy do something with the car.....just need to find some time now :)

thanks in advance.

Something like this perhaps;

I think perhaps a little expensive at £125, and will need some modification of the existing linkages, but at least being Spoox it will be fairly solid.
