1.9 n/a diesel engine wanted

Post by KevR »

Just had a call from a mate who's a 2CV specialist. One of his customers also has a BX estate and has apparently killed the engine (not sure of details but I believe he's driven through a flood and hydraulic locked it...
So he's looking for a replacement engine if anyone's got one available. Ideally not a million miles from Loughborough, Leics.
Anyone got anything?

There is one on ebay at the moment so i believe. Might be the simplest option.

I don't think Nick the 2CV man has advanced sufficently far into the 20th century to do Ebay... :D
I'll have a look though, thanks.

Its up for 200 quid and its in Fakenham, Norfolk.

Been 4 offers so there is interest. Probably the best and quickest way to sort it.

I've passed the message on and he's going to contact the owner and see what he wants to do.
