We have huge population in Indonesia such as: Citroen BX 16 TRS & 19 GTi and Peugeot 405; 605; 306 & 406, XU family engine, where still applied NON multiplex wiring system, and we are planning to convert/swap its engine with 1.6HDi or 2.0HDi + its manual or automatic (preferably) gearbox + Bosch (not Siemens) fuel injection system, where the main purpose is to have better mileage fuel consumption but still have an excellent torque in low RPM & acceleration.
Which one is more easier where no need to set up (drilling) new position engine & gearbox mounting, based on XU (XU7J2 or XU9J2 or XU10J2) engine mounting & bracket, the 1.6HDi or 2.0HDi or 2.2HDi engine sets??
We prefer using 1.6HDi engine for small car such as: Citroen BX ; Peugeot 405; 306 and the 2.0 & 2.2HDi engine for bigger car: 605 & 406.
This project will be continuous basis, 5 - 10 sets per month within 12 months contract.
