silver meteor

Post by patersom10 »

Out of the fog this morning, just up from Cockfosters tube a mint looking silver meteor! Put a smile on my face, unfortunately I was in mrs Renault otherwise I would have pulled up next to it and took some snaps. May have to go back later ! :D anyone?

Thought this might be the 'silver BX' spotted just south of Hadley Wood while driving into Cockfosters a few weeks ago - only caught it out of the corner of my eye and couldn't stop. So, looked out for it again this morning and it is indeed a very tidy looking Meteor - Jxxx OEG, so not yours Mickey.

Have only seen one other one round there - an n/a G-plate diesel in anthracite, will look out for the others.

Ha! I've seen this a couple of times on my way up that way.

Great stalking that man - how's my old girl doing anyway?

Still going strong, have been digging out and treating rust spots over the past few days, thinking about wrapping it rather then to spray but its all very costly so just touching up the paint at the moment, searching eBay daily at present for a good set of compomotive wheels in white or black as think they would finish it off perfectly.

still need new bumper inserts (beading) looks like i may have get these made?

Also urgently need weather strips for all windows, went to the Citroen garage in epsom and the couldnt help, anyone help?
