I have a 1989 BX 19TRI with no fog lights or driving lights fitted. I would like to fit some additional “spot” lights to assist open road driving. I have a pair of rectangular spots from a Peugeot 205. I assume I can simply cut away a portion of the lower bumper bar to make a position for them.
My questions are:
1. Is the wiring already in place for these?
2. Any tips for finding the mounting points and relay location (if any)
Thanks

Re: Fitting of aftermarket auxiliary lights
1) Doubtful
2) You need two fog lamp housings. There will be 4 small lugs that secure the aforementioned housing on the bumper. Yes, you need to cut the louvres out of the front bumper - the spot is defined by two intermediate sidewalls that make a small rectangle.
Doubtful the relay would be fitted, so you'll need to add one!
This is assuming it's the later mk2 bumper
