1994 1.7 TZD (Turbo) White Estate For Sale (E-Bay)

Post by RxBX »

As title listing 'M575 PNM' (139,5k miles) spotted for sale, as 'Spares or Repairs' due to age :?
E-bay Seller wrote:This is my dads Citroen bx he had it from a very good friend of his due to him being a bit soppy about that sort of thing but has asked me to sell due to needing the space < and my mum nagging at him why he needs two cars> the condition is as close to mint as you will get from a car of its age that untill my dad got it was being used every day. the inside is spot on as you can see from the pics the out side has a couple of marks and the odd chip but thats it and as far as i can tell everything works the suspension is fine . being the tzd it has the nice interior with electric windows nice seats power steering lumber support etc,
also being a turbo diesel its great on fuel and has a massive boot to practical too. as for service history the book is as stamped as it will go full history up to 90000 with the body work checks all stamped up to as you will see from the last pic it has all the hand books a few old mots a haynes manual even with all three of the original sale books from Citroen with it. my dad would really like some one who will really care about it to buy it so please no messers

100 deposit at the end of the auction please via pay pal
no bidders with less then 10 feed back unless contacted me first
and cash on collection asap only please

due to age being sold as spares or repairs but any well nearly any test drive or inspecton welcome

Rather nice late model, just a couple of 'Z' trims needed and its ready for the rally !

I wouldn't be surprised if this one realizes a four figure amount !

Good luck to who ever secures this one !

:)

Looks nice but no description of any faults. Spares or repairs makes me wonder a bit!!

Dear All,
You know me, I don,t like to knock anyone elses car that they are selling, but it may just be " eyesight " but to me it looks a little like the o/s/r radius arm bearing may be gone or it could just be the way it parked on the grass :?

Don't forget, some people see a 19 year old car as absolutely ancient! Either the market will push the price up anyway, or someone will get a cheap BX that would have fetched more if properly prepared and NOT sold as spares/repairs.

They should do, but then a lot of people don't know how to sell a car. They've introduced a whole heap of suspicion into potential buyer's minds so it'll either be a bargain or a gamble-and-hope-for-the-best. It might be absolutely superb, or it might be absolutely knackered. The gamble element may stop it making strong money.

Ian the seller's a CAR-TRADER

So I'm sure they'll be capable/knowledgeable of how to make the basic checks for any potential H/G issues and especially as they've owned and ran the vehicle for a while there should be aware of any mechanical/water works issues !

 Best to give them a call (01386 424918)and ask them the question, if anyone on here is thinking having a punt on it

Maybe not on the BXC Tim, but if IYCR (As I can  ) James 'Tourist' TZD-TURBO thread which Ken posted a photo of an 'M' reg. Estate less than a mile from where he lives (But he's pulled the photo :( ) and I'd posted a link up for a 'M' Estate which was being advertised on E-bay at the time !

I wonder if the current White one is possibly the same one I spotted back then (IIRC the one Ken posted up was a Blue one which was showing adjacent to some caravan/s on a camp site) !
