Its a lovely car but 1000 is only the starting price. Its not even got an MOT! God only knows what the actual reserve is!!!!

What does everyone reckon its worth? 750 WITH an MOT?

Not a Diesel, Not a 16v, not an anything really is it? I wouldn't be interested in it if it were free to be honest.

On top of that, it's been driven round the block every now and then for goodness-only knows how long, which means the bores will probably be damaged, there's probably mayo in the oil from condensation, and I bet the LHM is past it's best from lack of use. Probably has various siezed bits (like brake calipers) from lack of use too. I bet the Spheres are all flat too.

Would need a major and thorough going over before driving anywhere, and isn't worth anything near the asking price in my opinion.

Edit

Ignore me im stupid! Got all confused, been looking at this other one for a couple of days. If the 1.4 is anything to go by this must be a rocket!

Maybe somebody offered him the 2 grand he wanted for it offline?

Just imagine how excited the 16v boys would get if it had been one of them!

Hmmm... £25 seems to be about about market value (on the basis that £25 is what it's worth as raw material for the Chinese economy in cubed form).
