Here is the bx I aquired a couple of weeks ago. 270,000 on the clock. Body in good nick, slight rust behind offside wheel arch.
As a novice I know absolutely nothing about these cars but I love her already....unfortunately she is in a work shop having her front suspension pipes replaced....
Looking forward to learning more about these cars from the more experienced and hopefully make some New friends.

Hi Chris and welcome to the BXC !
I see that the BX you've acquired came from Nigel (endorfin) whos mainly into XM's as he made a post on the XM FORUM about the BX purchase, I remember too that it had quite a lot of work that needing doing especially as 'tin worm' was attacking it
As I've seen your wanted O/S/R panel request and hence linked up which BX it is

I got it from Nigel. We have been friends for many years. He started me off on the zx's, had one xm that I never drove as I couldn't get it on the road (failed miserably) and now I have that bx. From what I can see, he sorted all the problems out. Just need to sort the wheel arch rust. Karust should do the Job unless u guys have a better option? Nigel loves his xm, he has just aqquired another xm 2.5 estate exactly the same colour as his other....hoping to have it off him in a year or so....

I take thats the 'Freebie one' which Campbell posted up on the XM-FORUM which has the ECU/keypad problems !amatuerbx wrote:I got it from Nigel. We have been friends for many years. Please note too, that your BX is not a 1.7 TZD, it's actually a 'DTR TURBO' especially as its an 'F' reg. (So perhaps the title/thread needs editing) !

If you take the trouble to read thro' THIS for sale thread, theres enough info there for you to decipher the differences

DTR turbos are rare now !
What he paid for it isn't really anyone else's business!

You really do need to read and decipher folks posts 100%

The 'Freebie' is relating to Chris's friend (Nigel who acquired the XM ) not the BX !
If you'd noticed the link /\ to XM thread, but its HERE again so as not to get confused
