Exhaust may prove a problem

Here for sale is my BX 4x4 its in good condition interior is immaculate (pics to follow) its been in a barn since 2006 , for the mot needs an exhaust & brake pipes.it runs fine all running gear good. its perminant 4 wheel drive with a centre diff lock. I checked vosa there was only 329 imported into uk & there are only 4 on the road.

Another well-prepared ad with outstanding photos, thoughtfully pitched to create the best possible experience for potential buyers - not! There may only be 4 on the road, but there are another 8 on a SORN and probably most of them have problems with the transfer box.

Its got the potential to be a nice car & at least its on with a starting bid of £5 rather than £500. No MOT & with it needing an exhaust, that puts it into the scrap value category imho, so if it can be secured for less than that, then its probably a good buy?

Budget £300 for an exhaust when bidding though but looks tidy and could be a bargain!

1990 Citroen BX 1.9 petrol 4x4 estate. Graphite grey, dry stored since March 2006 when MOT and tax ran out. Seven seater conversion kit included if required, tidy in appearance, mechanically good, great on snow and ice. No exhaust. Very reliable, very good condition, 116,000 miles, tow hitch with twin electrics.

Gone from Brecon to Oxford and now being sold on, apparently in exactly the same state as when purchased. The pics on the original ad are way better as well.

If you have deep pockets or looking for a way to lose a few pounds its worth saving. If it needs a clutch don't ask me but stood since 2006 exhaust rotted doesnt bode well.

the pictures were far better and heres the ORIGNAL thread for when H126 VGO was F/S by the previous owner in the Brecon !













I wonder if current owner has got the /\ extra rear seat conversion or never bothered with it, as that was optional in the previous sale/listing ?
