Plastic/nylon teejoints on rubber return pipes

Post by Dennis Rosser »

Hi, in the same day two plastic/nylon tee pieces have just disintegrated. The one on top of the reservoir and the one down under the steering taking the thin plastic tube from the accumulator sphere and two others. Are these tee pieces available or is there a good substitute ? Thanks.

I've just used a short stub of fuel hose where the LHM cap T piece was to connect the front clear hose to the cap. This seems fine as my LHM cap is not a tight seal to the tank. The other pipe into the cap was a breather so is now redundant. :D

I used small t-piece connector that i found on an old aquarium pump set up, just the right size for the job and lasted years. Most motor parts suppliers should have a selection of connectors and t and y pieces.
