Simply French, Beulieu 12th May

Post by red_dwarfers »

Anyone else thinking of going along to this? I went along to this last year and it was a decent show, the museum is well laid out too. At the moment they have the largest official collection of Bond vehicles on show right up to and including a couple of bikes and the Defender featured in Skyfall. A fair sized collection of the Top Gear vehicles are also on show in the World of Top Gear exhibition.

Usually it’s £20/adult £18.50/Senior £12/Youth £9.95/Child £52.50/Family but if you’re coming in a French car and park in the French car parking area the charges halve to £10/adult £5/child. The website doesn’t mention Senior/Youth rates.

I shall be going along in the GSA, reckon there might be another there too.

Bunch of us did it last year. Worth a trip I thought, but that's my anniversary so don't reckon I'll make this one.

I can't this time, but it was good last year (hope the weather's good this time too!). Citroen UK will be there with some models on display plus a "bourgeois café scene"... I can see that going down well with the Chavved up Puggers. lol
