Post by maxgreenwood »

sorry not BX related, but after searching the net, i thought it wouldn't hurt to cast out to the fountain of knowledge that has kept me running several BXs healthily over the years!

looking for somewhere that might be able to replace bearings on my sister's 07 Punto g/box without charging the earth

Try Turvey Motors at Burton on the Wolds. Probably cheaper to source a good used box though.

Dear Max,
6 months ago I had to get a secondhand automatic gearbox to my daughters 99 1,4cc Saxo
We got one for £75 plus £40 postage, and it came with all its sensors and its E.C.U aswell. and I fitted all myself anyway, so the job was done properly.
I ditto Kevs remark abour a s/h box too
Good luck Max,
