Evening,
The Bx 19rd I have bought has grey bumpers.
The car is silver but doesn't have body coloured bumpers.
They are quite badly scratched and I wondered if anyone knew the paint code?
Long shot but hope someone can help.
Bumper colour.

Re: Bumper colour.
They never had painted bumpers just colour matched plastic, they are probably the originals?

Yes I think they are the originals.
Re: Bumper colour.
a friend of mine many years ago sorted his grey GSA bumpers out with stoving black,
they looked really good
not the paint type that comes up with a goooogly search,
it was the old fashioned stoving black they used on the likes of non enameled Arga type stoves,
which you burnish into the surface you are applying it to,

Re: Bumper colour.
Your paint code should be on the inside of the nearside wing - possibly close to the battery but you're more likely to just be able to buy plain silver paint if you're going to use rattle cans.
There's a grey primer specifically for plastic - it's a good idea to use that first. The most difficult part at the moment is finding a warm dry day to do the job

Re: Bumper colour.
If its the 19RD I think it is the silver is just listed as "Quartz" the bumpers on later cars were body coloured.

Re: Bumper colour.
Thanks for your help, looks like I'd have to paint front, rear bumpers and the rear side spats to get a consistent colour.
Shame as its only the front bumper which is scratched.
Might be easier to try source a better front bumper.
