Is this part of the front bumper reinforcer?
Check http://www.clevelandpanels.com/citroen/ ... bx-83.html to see if this has any of your parts

If I end up breaking this red one, I'll still have G-SEGs shell left, so if that piece isn't rotten (touch and go with most of it!) then I'll have it available. No promises at this stage, just depends how desperate you are?

thanx for that kitch. i do have another option of going over to edwards and sons in billericay he has a solid shell there but its a 100 mile trip, unfortunately the panel the guy supplied (which had been cut from another car and very solid) only has about the first two inches of the chassis attached, not really enough fo repair the o/s, i gotta finish stripping out all the damaged bits yet to really see what im up against but i think the best bet is a new piece or to fabricate a bit to suit.

Hi Kitch, How good is the rear offside footwell on G-SEG?

I have just found the floor just behind the drivers seat is very very weak just as it curls up to Sill. I can replace this with a sheet of metal but my metal bending skill are not good, so any replacements would be good. (even if just to help me get the shape.

Thanks

I don't see anything here that can't be pulled, hammered and straightened back out which would be easier than cutting out and replacing?

Well I've likely got two breakers on my hands so can't see it being a problem.

chassis piece no longer needed, have made a start on cutting away all the bent bits, will be fabricating a piece from 1mm steel building up the chassis section then double skinning it. the "crumple zone" will be gone but should be strong enough none the less, i have taken pics of progress so far and will post em up when finished. got a prob with the welder but should have it sorted by the afternoon, and hopefully all the metalwork should be in.
