Auto trans leak

Post by kiwi »

Anyone got any advice or experiance over a potential leak on the BX auto trans?

Noted under the rear of the engine of the TZS some fluid. Turns out to be trans fluid which seems to be located at the rear of the engine/trans. Not quite sure of where from though, given the car was parked up a couple of months this is a bit disconserting.

start with checking the diff seals, it's the most usual cause of fluid leaks from the box.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Thanks for that Doc. Now the cars been moved the seals seem to have reseated themselves, no obvious leakage all the trans fluid did need a top up. Will keep an eye on that now, I forgot about the diff seals.
