A lot of Citroens in Gloucestershire it seems. Must have had a good agent. Locally we are flooded with Pugs, good agent. I like the colour. The drive is full of BX bits so no more cars at the moment.

If that's the Blue GSpecial, it's a seriously good car - one of the best unrestored examples I've seen for a long time with a good, unwelded shell, very good interior and an interesting history. The outside isn't perfect but it could be either made into a show winner or kept as a time-warp car.

Tony Weston is probably the reason there are so many older models of Citroen about in this area. He started when DS's were regarded pretty much as BX's are today, and between him and his sons have owned between them almost every model built after the war (plus at least 2 RWD models!). Their knoweledge on how to fix these cars is 2nd to none, and I've always found them reasonably priced on the odd times I've had work I couldn't do myself.
