Are estate rear arm bearing kits the same as hatchback ones please?

If you want genuine SKF kits, they do crop up on Leboncoin quite often.

got mine from camberley auto factors 2 kits £70 skf too. tho not a stock item they got them in for me at cost + 20%.

Jay had the actual bearing part number. If the rest is ok you could save a few pounds by buying the bearings only. Either pm him mate or search on here, Jay is good at documenting such info.

I did just that, so i'll try and dig out the pat number if Jay doesn't see this. Cost was around a tenner for the two bearings, but I had to buy the seal from GSF as I didn't have reliable dimensions I could search for. I.e. the old seal was knackered. It was £4 posted I think for a couple of seals though, so certainly a cheaper way to do the job.

Thanks for all the info and help folks.

I got a bit of a bargain i think. 2 full kits from a factors through e-bay with decent enough timken bearings and all bits and bobs, 2 x kits for 40 quid postage included. Im pleased with that :wink:
