OK - went to see these for my own interest but really don't think there is much for me....
Owners moving to France. Very nice and helpful lady and son (Julie & Max) - trying to tidy up and sell the farm. The Citrophile responsible is in France already so information is limited. From what I can gather the cars were used and when MOT or tax ran out another car was used and these basically kept on the farm for future - there is just so much 'stuff'
The TZD is hard to view currently, although the son is due home this weekend and I have asked if he can help in terms of access, photos and further reporting on condition etc... for our benefit.
There is a general intent to try and sell the cars rather than see them scrapped, this would also be financially beneficial they hope
Initial very 'loose' talk about money was £500 for both Bx's - probably aiming a little high but draw your own conclusions given one has a potentially sweet 16v engine in?
Both cars can be brought in to an area for easy loading using tractors/trailors etc... the land here is clay and very sodden currently - not too nice for grubbing about in

The TZD. Interior not too bad it seemed, both front doors dislodged, not sure if rusted. Rear door shuts seemed to be just starting to show some indication of rust. Overall, given unknown engine condition at present, this is a brave restoration, or more likely a source of parts. could not get underneath at all.
The 16V. Most panels dented. Interior ok. Relatively rust free although front doors have been repaired at hinges, seemed solid enough but too rough to spend time restoring. Could not see under rear bumper at all. Supposedly good engine but untested. Again a source of parts me thinks.

Not sure of any time frame for clearance at present - there seemed to be another field of landrovers and tractors too.........
's but only one shown and the Sellers asked that 'no-ones to bid' so vehicles may be open to an individual sale (Rather than a job-lot) !
