WANTED: BX 16v Ph2 Hydraulic pipe - Pump to FDV - 96034027

Post by Vanny »

My pump to FDV main steel line has just fractured on the valver. Managed to limp it home, just, only leaks when the PR kicks in, but my how it leaks!

Its a 6.35mm pipe 525mm long (960340270, it is not the same as the 565mm Diesel supply pipe, though i don't know if the diesel one (95 596 564) might bodge in if needed (its the only one not NFP at citroen).

Cash waiting for new or old pipe!

Try the 14 tu engine pipe number, they are still available (or were 4 months ago) ??
maybe bodge into shape? I cant remember the shape of a 16v one in afraid, so its a guesstimate.

Have contacted the Doc and the good Mr Kitch, hopefully they might be able to help.

Using a 14TU pipe is a nice idea, though they are showing as NFP, and are over DOUBLE the length of the valver one. I can't see how i could bodge it into place without significantly kinking the pipe.

Have i ever told anyone how much i HATE the FDV? Seriously considering going back to a twin output pump setup!

Genius, plaedies, totally forgot about them, but you're damn right, it should be something even they are capable of.

You've got one winging it's way to you at the moment, should be there tomorrow. I didn't get a chance to check it against mine, but I reckon it's probably right.
