93' TZD Estate

Post by Stinkwheel »

Its that time, slight space overload and this being the one needing more of my attention right now...........

I think the easiest way to advertise it is this link to Dollywobblers for sale advert of only a short while ago....

http://www.bxclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=18275" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It has now done 310k and will not come with the speedlines but a set of steels.

Im after £350 quid, pretty firm on the price as its actually a really good car, space is forcing my hand mainly.

Any interest great, if not i shall keep it i expect :-)

OK folks, sorry, total change of heart. i shall just park her up for now and pull the engine in the spring. I love this car far too much to let it go for nothing but with that mileage its worth literally nothing. Sorry for wasting anyones time reading the stuff above.

It may show 310k,but the engine was replaced with a fairly low mileage one when I owned the car so the engine has probably only done 160k. Geoff.

Its a bit of a triggers broom that car, I had a 16TGS with 230k on it like that, everything had been replaced.

Hi, thanks for input Geoff and Tim.
the head needs some work as do the turbo and pipework. Nothing wrong with engine as such.
I really really like this car, hence it will rest for the winter and then when space and time allow it shall rise phoenix like :-)

Good to know, it is the highest mileage car on here so a bit of an Icon.

Aye, good news. It does need a bit of a sort out - Geoff's right about the engine change, but the poor girl is feeling her miles a bit. She deserves to ride again though!

Well AFAIK, Mr Fenwicks has a poultry 225000 miles on. I know where theres a Mk1 19RD with well over 300k on it but it wont ever see the road again and my two are parely run in at 56 and 93k.

I'm doing my best to catch you up Matt, so if you could stop driving it for a while that would be a great help! But there's a few which have more miles than mine, so I'm not even second :(

We may have to ignore our Finnish friend. Hasn't he got a BX with over 800,000kms on it? Would still make Matt's TZD highest MILEage. ;)
