Rare Citroen bx 17 DTR. Had a Bosch pump put on and it fails to start, may be air in the system. mot October, tax end of October. Had new cam belt, water pump, hydraulic pump this year. 4 alloys. 2 on her and the remaining alloys in the boot. 279k on clock but was still lovely to drive. Already spent too much on this car but University and family life is taking up my time. Would be a shame to scrap her. She is an old car and a little scruffy but to an enthusiast it should be a doddle. 6 of these rare DTR left in the u.k. You would need to arrange transportation for her. V5 present. Cash on collection pls.

Ooo-er! He'll need luck to get more than scrap value, seeing as it's going to have to be trailered away. I always hear warning bells when there's been mods done. The eBay ad's not over-endowed with photos either. And a lot of miles, even for a diesel.

Might be a simple fix such as not fitting the correct diesel pump pipes that are specific for that pump &/or the wrong injectors as well. Could potentially be a very simple fix?

...and if someone knew the full story before bidding they could make an informed decision and take a punt at it. As it stands, there's only going to be a few prepared to have a bid and I imagine some of them will be bidding for scrap. Such a shame if it does get cubed, given how few there are around.

quite like them alloys on a bx, 405 GTX wheels i suspect. prob quite hard to find a good set now.
