People will spot it soon enough ... my lovely BX19 GT is for sale. I've just leapt into a property purchase which is impossible (at the moment) to get a mortgage on and together with my mother also moving and losing 'my' garage it means the car is too much of a luxury at the moment. It's going to hurt but some things are more important. Advert is on Car and Classic once its approved.

Not sold to KGF. We'd agreed a price during the show and Steve came to Birmingham today with cash (presumably). He spent a long time looking at the car (fair enough) and then tried to negotiate £600 off the agreed price (£3700). This was based on ...
Electricals not working: computer, radio, rev counter and 'temperature' gauge.
LHM leak on rear nearside
Engine oil leak.
Computer and radio 'fixed' by a new yellow fuse. What Steve thought was a temp. gauge is an oil gauge and I'm ashamed to say I didn't know. It's working fine.
There was an LHM seepage on the rear nearside but from the evidence of the garage floor (none) and looking at the ram in question there is no leak.
The oil leak was coming from between the block and sump but all of the bolts were able to be tightened a fair bit so that might be all that is.
Rev. counter definitely doesn't work. I'm not about to start taking the dash out to figure out why.
To be fair to Karl and Steve their final offer was £3500 but Steve went home by train.
No loss to the BX community they aren't BX enthusiasts just quick buck dealers who think they may have the next golden goose in the BX perhaps?
