Wanted: Mk. 1 Grey seat cover

Post by jamescarruthers »

Does anyone have a seat, seat base, backrest or seat covers like the ones on my little 1984 BX14E that they'd be willing to part with?

Hi James

Mk1 seats (like the GS) are notorious for disintigrating as they were made of very thin fabric (sorry), that pattern was bespoke to the E model aswell so finding one will be a real chore unless you try France, the options are to either change the seats to something similar or do what most people did in the 80's and get some covers (retro ones!).
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

Pretty sure my Dad's '83 16TRS had that trim too.
