Think he's already discounted this one on price grounds. I spoke to a couple of Scottish gents at the NEC who were keen, but I told them it'd need to be pristine for £2800, and I wouldn't personally pay more than £2500 for a BX full stop.*

It might be a bit optimisic on price, but if it's as good as it sounds - who knows? A very rare car and people - with good reason - really want them now. Once there's demand the prices keep rising. I'd happily pay 2500 for a really top valver (if I had the dosh that is - which I haven't )

There's the clincher, they rarely are and with 90,000 miles on the clock it isn't the super low mileage example that normally frequent that price bracket!

To find a valver under 100k these days is pretty good going though, IMO.

Be interested to see what he does get for it, if we ever find out.

As much as i love them i just don't see them worth that kinda of cash yet. However it is annoyingly close to home! I wouldn't waste the guys time by viewing it only to make an offer that's miles from his asking price.

It is still a 90k mile 22 year old Citroen at the end of the day.
