Mk 1 Heater control light bulb change?

How do you go about changing the heater control light bulbs in a Mk. 1? Is it easier than the Mk. 2? It looks more accessible but I imagine I'm just suffering from some misplaced festive wishful thinking.

A lot easier! Pull the heater knobs off, remove the ash tray and look for any hidden screws. There's also one above the controls which shines down..,,

I thought that the shining down one was the only one! Good thing you mentioned that Tim.

I'll replace the lot then!

As Tim said, the numbers etc are also back lit. I think that there should be another light shining down into the ashtray too.
