HT leads and plugs for 1990 8v GTi

Hi folks, I had the GTi serviced today and it just needs HT leads for the minute. I thought I might ask about leads (and plugs, while I'm at it); anyone have them to spare? Thanks.

10 year old Magnecors on another vehicle suggests that they are worth the extra...that's running on gas which is harder on the ignition system so the recommendation is to replace leads every few years. Will be interested to see how long they last!

I was looking at these ones earlier and was wondering what the 'XU9' stood for? I'd be happy with this level of quality for the minute, until the car becomes a keeper!

XU9 is the engine code.

Should be easy enuf to obtain thru your local factor as they cross match to many other psa engined cars.

heres an ebay listing for Bougicord leads, which were OE fitment by citroen

probably depends on how often you use the car as the heat from the engine will deteriorate them over time,

or if you live were the Rat population like living in car engine bays
