16 soupapes exhaust manifold in XU9JAZ?

Post by Slagtrooper »

Found someone here in Brazil trying to sell a 16 soup exhaust manifold. It fits in 8V 1.9 petrol engines?

Yes, analyzing more is one tube for each exhaust valve, so yes, it doesn't fit :/

Thanks anyway

But i'd like to imagine if someone make a "submanifold" to it, between head and 16 soup manifold...If it had chances to increase exhaust flow

You'd probably be better off making (of having made) a 4 into 1 manifold to fit your engine - I bet costs wouldn't be much different, and it would probably work better too. Not really had a good look at an 8v petrol manifold, but if the diesel one is anything to go by it's probably not a good design flow wise.

Best thing to do is fit the XU9J4 engine. Instant improvement :D
