Hi bussell and welcome to the BXC, the Hurricane model came out much later than a 'G' reg. plate as most of them were on a 'J' or 'K' plate also Citroen never produced the 16V models as a 'Hurricane' spec. and also where always in 'Triton Green' apart from the specially ordered in BLACK GTi model (that we know of) which was sold on E-BAY in 2012 !

:)

It is actually quite conceivable that he saw a Hurricane on a 'G' plate if that was a 'cherished' number plate. You can fit earlier number plates but not later ones respective to the age of the car. :)

W2G, Yes I'd already thought about that and actually stated that in my post (Prior to hitting the submit button) but then revised/deleted out the same comment, when realising that they didn't make them in Silver and with a 16V engine !

Thanks for the welcome messages.

great levels of knowledge on this site. I think we can conclude that I saw a 16v and thought it was a hurricane because of the body kit. I am going to do some swatting up.
