Hi bussell and welcome to the BXC, the Hurricane model came out much later than a 'G' reg. plate as most of them were on a 'J' or 'K' plate also Citroen never produced the 16V models as a 'Hurricane' spec. and also where always in 'Triton Green' apart from the specially ordered in BLACK GTi model (that we know of) which was sold on E-BAY in 2012 !

It is actually quite conceivable that he saw a Hurricane on a 'G' plate if that was a 'cherished' number plate. You can fit earlier number plates but not later ones respective to the age of the car.

W2G, Yes I'd already thought about that and actually stated that in my post (Prior to hitting the submit button) but then revised/deleted out the same comment, when realising that they didn't make them in Silver and with a 16V engine !

great levels of knowledge on this site. I think we can conclude that I saw a 16v and thought it was a hurricane because of the body kit. I am going to do some swatting up.
