Hello to all, Just out of interest I removed my rear bumper
there was a small amount of rust I say only small amount
got that sorted replacing bumper is easy only thing was
those blocks just fell off put them back on but don't
hold the bumper only thing holding the bumper on
is the bolts what do you guys do to get over this leave it.
the blocks should be attached to the bumper (if they still clip in) first, then lift the bumper into place get one side in, make sure the slots in the square mounting lug fit into the body then push it forward about an inch it should slide into place and be tight to the body, it will be obvious if its in properly or not, then do other side, you will know if its right as the screw holes on top will be lined up, an assistant may help. it is not uncommon for the body to rust away and come away with the bumper around the mounts only to be told by removal of bumper, hopefully not the case.

if the general appearance of the original bumper is good,
i would remove it place the blocks into the slots they are supposed to lock into, if they will not lock into place as they are meant to, just fasten them in place with self tappers through the edges of the blocks, and into the lips of the bumper the blocks locate into
