Wanted Rear Bumper in Gris Axinite & Drivers Side Fr Mudflap

Post by bussell »

Bit of a long shot, but I would really like a replacement bumper for the Tatty Bus - she obviously had a towing incident as my bumper is cracked straight up the middle - I could flexible fill and re-paint, but if there is a spare in the right colour that would be awesome.

Thanks

Ed :)

Ed, I notice that it possibly may have odd shades of 'Tinted' Rear Lamps, or is that the O/S unit maybe fitted incorrectly and is reflecting the light more thro' the lense compared to the N/S as the gap on the O/S seems much greater from the bumper ?

If you think that they are not a matching pair, do you want me to check out my spares stash to achieve a matching pair hopefully (As my stock is getting fairly low now)?

If your not too bothered fair enough, I thought I'd just mention it !

:)

Hi RxBx, thanks for the offer, I think however that it is the light and the fact that these were the sales pics for the car i.e before being cleaned which makes them look odd - I purchased another nearside light when the brake lights were not working which matches - however that fault was caused by a bad earth so I already have a spare.

BTW - the height corrector was fitted at the weekend with the rear suspension overhaul (spheres still to go) if you have not read my restoration blog.

All the best,

Ed

Hi RxBX - they are definitely a pair as both are etched with the registration plate, I also noticed that every bit of glass is etched and original including the windscreen - I don't quite know how that is possible - I seem to crack 3 screens a year in the Mercedes, the last one did 72 hours from fitting to a new crack?
