Now Breaking - ( 1989 White 1.9RD Estate Spotted F/S )

Although I was going to sell this car for spares, then, due to lack of interest, I was going to put it back on the road...
I have now come to my senses , and decided to break it for parts, since I had a BX member contact me for parts.

He's bagsy'ed quite a few bits,
....but I need to know if anyone needs a working engine unit, 1.9 Diesel 129k miles.
I'd done the head gasket shortly before it went off the road through accident damage.
It will need another timing belt, since the one on it shows signs of surface crazing/cracking.

- you would have to come and take it out though - cambridge, cambridgeshire.

- also, does anyone need any other parts ?

Hi, I am new to the forum (new posting on any forum!) so hope I don't 'get lost'! I have a '93 TZD Tourbow Estate on which the drivers window lift 'jumps cogs' on closing so need a new qudrant & gear - whole mechanism? Can you help? Mine has 'one touch' control - am I right that this difference is all in the switch so the lift mechanism will be the same as yours?

Car has now been scrapped.

I'm holding the fuel filter assembly for someone - please remind me !!
and the wheel trims also.....for s.delasal
also the hydro pump....for Mulley
so they've all been spoken for.

Frank - I've still got to look at the bits for the window winder, so will let you know there.
Rutter - sorry, disks were so worn, pads were down to the metal, and didn't have the right size spanners to hand, I couldn't get the caliper off.

Front struts were both seeping, so unfortunately, and for ease of moving it, they've gone with the body.

I've got 3 injectors which were working fine before breaking (one was impossible to remove).
I've got the 4 pre-heaters, but need to test them, if anyone needs any.

Hi, I need that rubber blank to see it if the car was on high
its on the front o/s wheel arch at the back its sort of
oval shape about 2 inches long .
