Where to get rear diff seals & rear transfer box seals?

Post by David » Wed Jul 30, 2014 10:56 pm

I need some seals for my BX 4x4. The usual guy I get them off hasn't got any that fit. I need the large one that goes around the propshaft drive in the transfer box & at least 1 rear diff seal (the left one if their different).

Anyone got any ideas where to get some?

If you have a sample then Manchester seals will be able to match it no problem, they have now integrated into HTS but still brilliant and never failed to match a seal for me.

And if you don't have a sample, it's likely to be a standard size rather than made for the specific application. So you could just search by size, obviously the ID and OD being the critical dimensions.

Gearbox shaft seals:
2209 28
GEAR-BOX SHAFT SEAL
92 X 3,53

3206 20
PINION SEAL
30 X 5,3

2211 36
BOX WEATHERSTRIP
57 X 73 - 5,3

Rear diff seals:
3121 13
GEAR-BOX SEAL
45 X 62 - 10

3010 13
O-RING
78 X 84 - 3

I suppose those are standard as long as you are able to get right dimensions.

Guys at specialized store should know the right questions to ask and what to offer for such application.
