BX front strut top...

Post by icrc » Sat Aug 09, 2014 9:23 am

hello, mate...

the BX strut top "95 563 928" is NFP sadlly...
but it is problem of time that will be broken...

how do you deal with it or prepare for it?

someone could repair it about 200 EUR for one pair...
it's nice for XM, but a little much for BX, isn't it?

thanks...

Interesting comment, as from what I've seen of values an early XM at least seems to be worth less than a BX!

I've heard about a guy in Novi Sad, Serbia who re-conditions front strut tops for 50-60 auros a piece. Some people say that car is slightly stiffer with these "cups" as we call it, another claim there is no difference... Can't really say until I try it myself, but I hope I won't need this kind of service soon.
