citroen bx 16 carb

Hello all, Just about to purchase low mileage bx 16 are these a carb job
can they still be got hold of if I need one for spares.

Yes bud, they are carb jobbies n sometimes they come up on ebay.

Doesn't one of the 16's use a monopoint injection system?

Yes, you are right, the TZI does i believe but i dont think they are a common motor, sorry.

Vast majority are carb. Chances of SPFI are remote!

Only the very last 1.6 TXI models was available with sfi so most will be a carb.
