Binnacle wing nuts

Post by electrokid »

IIRC the wing nuts that hold the instrument pod are nylon ?

If so - and if you've lost one then perhaps this will do the job - can't remember the thread size though...

If.... you are lucky enough to have the 'wingnut' type retainers. My '88 14 had star washers. a pig to remove compared to the later wing nuts....

Yeah - I also heard they were a problem for folks who didn't have 3 elbows along each arm

I'm lucky in that I have the wingnuts fitted - but I guess wingnuts could be retro-fitted anyway - I'm sure someone will be along in a little while to tell us the thread size :D
