Hmm, i was looking at how to get there & i'd have to pay the M6 tolls, otherwise it adds over 27 extra miles to my journey to avoid them, ffs....

I'd take the A5 if I was you, depending on planned time of arrival. Used to come down from Sheffield every weekend, down the A38, A5 to Telford then into Shropshire. Used to be a pain on a Friday evening but otherwise OK.

I'm hoping to pop along to this as it's probably the nearest thing to a local meet!

I just pay the tolls. I'd spunk around £50 on fuel to get to this and back, so £6 or whatever it is doesn't really matter if it shaves lots of time off the journey. :lol:

In fact I can't think of a time I haven't used the tolls recently.

I was intending on camping Mat, but finances have conspired against me. Plus I haven't managed to get the XM's window regulator fixed yet.

Have a itch somewhere for an XM. Unfortunately, it'll probably be in my wallet but I still want one! Next year, maybe?

Unfortunately I'm out as well - not up to a full day out plus 4 hours driving (2 each way). Hope a good time is had by all and the weather is kind, lotsa pix pls :)
