West London & Surrey area meet-ups

Post by Tecar »

CCC WL&S Group meetings this month:

"I realise this is rather a short notice reminder, but our meet is at Meet at Ace Cafe London TONIGHT. French classic and performance night - let's see if we can outnumber the Clio brigade tonight. From 7pm.

Another date which should be in your diaries, is our next event later this month:

September 28th: Kempton Steam Museum classic car show. Entry is by £5.00 donation and there is usually a good variety of classic cars to see, plus the big triple steam pumping engine will be in operation. The steam train will be giving rides too, so something for the whole family. It’s open to all classic cars and you must arrive between 9am and 10.20am to display. The public arrives from 10.30am, so if you don't have a classic car, just come along for a look and a train ride!"

Monthly events are advertised on the West London and Surrey page: http://wlsccc.wordpress.com

I went to that Ace Cafe French meet the other week. It really was crap!

I might give it another go on the TVR night, as the car park should only be full of TVRs, Morgans and Lotus'. I'm not a snob in the slightest (I drive a Saxo!) but there's only so many Clios you can see before you get bored. For me it was about 4.

I'm told the Classic night is better - The WL&S group do that in winter.
Darrin's taking our ID tonight - should confuse the "mod" brigade

Be prepared for lots of 'yoofs' asking about the "air ride" suspension Kris. :-)
