Keep Calm... it's a tee-shirt!

Post by Philip Chidlow »

Anyone interested? I'm thinking of getting some made up, in red, with white graphics in durable screen ink so will last...

If interested let me know quantity and size(s) and I'll get a price. Shouldn't be too much; I'm doing it at cost, plus P&P.

Quite clever that! Not sure I could think of a time where I'd wear it though!

Do you need a special time to wear a T shirt?

Thanks*, Kitch. For what it'll cost you only have to wear it at a Rally and then you can wear it in the workshop :)

Though I generally don't care how I look too much, I still have a marriage to maintain and kids to not embarrass in public.

Fair point Phil! I don't intend on going to any more rallys (though I might make an exception for the mk1 TRS to the local GS one if it happens) but good idea to wear one in the workshop every now and then. Let me know when you know how much they are.

Out of interest, is this a contact of yours? I'm thinking of getting some hoodies/t-shirts etc with the company logos on (printed, not stitched).

Yes, it's a local company. I've seen their work, and after being let down recently, thought I'd give them a go. Samples they showed me were good and their prices are very good. If you want, I could get a price for you.

Yeah that'd be great Phil. Just a rough price on say, 4 black hoodies, 4 black sweaters and 9 yellow t-shirts or something. I could supply the graphics.

We've got a place on the estate, but they let me down too. Must be a trend!

Kitch, I'll get back to you.

I am getting the feeling that if I order a selection of sizes I shouldn't have much of a problem shifting them. So I imagine next week I'll have a price sorted and can collect orders proper. Tim, you're in there already :)

Seems I'm not the first to think of this - not that I ever thought I was - but it's also been a tee shirt - sold apparently at the D Rally. But this one's sufficiently different so I'll CARRY ON.

There comes a point in the growing-up process for little people when it is obligatory for them to be mortified by their parents. Tactfully avoiding this embarrassment will result in a less resilient adult! In fact, they reach such a state of sensitivity in their teens that you can be as thoughtful as possible, and still push them over the edge. It's the missus that is the true barometer of poor taste, although it is also important to occasionally exercise the right to express yourself.

Price will be £14.95 each plus P&P (UK delivery) of £2.30 for the first shirt and £0.60 per shirt thereafter on the same order. Even if you've posted YOUR ORDER INCLUDING SIZE (better to slightly over compensate on a tee-shirt) on here, please do so VIA PM along with your DELIVERY ADDRESS and an e-mail address if you can (for updates) and I will send a reply including payment instructions. Once I have the majority of orders and payments in, I will place the order. Takes a week to ten days to turnaround once the button is pressed. All payments will receive a receipt via e-mail (if address supplied) or by PM.

Phil

PS Before anyone says they can get them cheaper, there is a modest commission in there for Liz who will be doing all the administration and shipping. Looks like over I'll be producing 40-60 already, so a bit of work there.

I'm sure if TVRs' had hydraulic suspension you'd find a moment or two....

Mind you it is appropriate for when the BX gets a hole through one of the pressure pipes...
Something I have had happen, fortunately only half a mile from home.
