According to the thread/E-bay listing it was Sold for £103 and the sellers FEED-BACK seems to reflect the sale went thro' (Item #171178705211) !

Looks well, but of course that means little if its rubbish underneath.
Now buying a car becomes a real hassle as you have to know if your buying to set up insurance and tax, or its two trips, one to look, and one to buy. No MOT means trailer or whatever. So no MOT means a low offer. Now add this car's 150 miles extra from the bulk of the country and I will offer £50 as the rest of my offer is consumed in getting there with a trailer! Am I alone on this? I cannot see my buying up plodders like I used to as the option of driving home has been made more difficult with no tax disc. A serious advantage has been dealt to the trade who have a blanket insurance and so can tax the car for you by agreement. Or have we now buggered that option up as well? The discussion docs were very evasive on this.

My guess is that more people will take the chance and just drive this sort of purchase home and argue the toss if their collar gets felt.
Very nice colour Triton Green - and this one looks do-up-able but it's a long way away from most of us and the rust needs to be looked at in case it's been understated in the ad.

All true. Knowing it sold for £103 a year ago puts it in a different light. It seems that either the welding wasn't done, or it was done and it still didn't pass an MOT (in which case there should be a fail sheet).
Either way a £397 profit for storing it for a year is still pretty good going...
Looking at it now I'd say it's got to be worth £250 in parts (as in parts you could actually sell - fogs, wheels).
