Overhaulig brakes.

Post by Rc00047 » Sun Nov 02, 2014 9:59 pm

Hi. Does someone know where to buy overhauling kit (pistonseals, gasket, ect) for 16v gti brakes vented.
Haven't seen any on ebay.

Maybe plaedies can help with seal kits not sure about pistons tho, or Malcolm Lockwood maybe worth a shout.

+1 for Bigg Red being good to deal with although never used them for BX parts. I have a pair of the seal kits spare so I will dig them out for the part numbers, if that's useful - think they are Bendix branded.

I sent some old seized Audi brake bits to them recently too and so far their service seems pretty good and reasonably priced too.

If you buy one seal kit from big red is that for 2 calipers or one?
