Never knew they existed! I imagine best suited to dusty/rural environments? Maybe standard in Citroen's North African market?

Re: Citroen strut covers?
Oh it's that is it??? I have actually seen the covers! ( ... As Phil and I were participants (;) ) at the fitting of my BX's NEW struts lol) I was just intrigued that these were perhaps an ADDITION to the 'standard' protection ...
sort of made sense in my mind but who'd really want to go there d'uh?!

Re: Citroen strut covers?
Got me thinking what, if any modifications were made to those BXs sold to markets where conditions were a little more hostile than here/on the continent (like the 2cv and GS were)...

Re: Citroen strut covers?
The strut gaiters appear to be NOS but could be pretty old. They may be old stock from Lovekyn the nearest Cit main dealer to the seller.
Do you know the seller Kitch? and/or do we take this as a warning not to deal with said person?

Re: Citroen strut covers?
You mean like the scuttle drain hoses that go into the hole at either end of the scuttle and drain any collected water away from the body work and onto the floor, which where only fitted to the earliest Mk1 before being deleted (probably on cost grounds)?Philip Chidlow wrote:Got me thinking what, if any modifications were made to those BXs sold to markets where conditions were a little more hostile than here/on the continent (like the 2cv and GS were)...
