1986 MK1 BX 1.9 GT low miles 45'631

Post by TouaregUK »

Very rare Citroen BX MK1 GT 1.9 only three examples left on the road
I'm told, This car was in long term storage until 2 years ago, I bought it from E Bay for £1750.00
had it shipped to Wolsey Motors they had it for about six months and went through the car,
and did every thing a car that sat in a garage for 10 years needs so now it in pefect mechamcal condition,
with a very good bodywork, the early MK1 cars interior was not as good as the MK 2's.
although it has no signs of wear the seating material is sagging a bit.
But I would say with confidence that it probably one of the nicest,
to be fair I have only ever seen one other and that was at the NEC and the asking price was £5000.00
Again cash is not the most important thing having spent over £3000.00 on the car, it was never done to make any money more just to keep such a perfect car in circulation for all those other Citroen Fanatics to enjoy,
No MOT but will run it to local MOT station and grantee a pass. same again cant put any pics up but some one can contact me and I will send them the pics on,

Thanks

Hi Tim,
good idea I have used car and classic before and always sold any of the cars quiet quickly.
this being very close to me heart, I wanted it on the BX site first, and as I said money wasn't really the reason I'm selling, its not being able to look after them and then forgetting the tax and MOT and getting finned again that's why I have put both on SORN. I still drive my ZX on a daily basis although I have a new car.

Damn, that's a fine BX.

Someone on here must keep it in the fold, surely?

I could be easily tempted to swap it for the damned 807, at least it would fit in the garage.
They think it's all over, it is now!

She looks fabulous, I have recommended offers over 3000.00 which I think judging by the huge amount of work its had done is worth having.
