The fuel gauge needle is catching on the background facia and tends to move across with vibration from the engine. I took out the instrument panel and lifted the clear plastic at one corner and pushed on the black centre of the fuel gauge needle, the needle came clear of the facia and worked ok. Put it all back together again and it worked great for one week now the needle as tilted back over and catching again. My question is to remove the black facia do the needles pull off, i have a vision of pulling on the speedo needle and smashing it then job will be well stuffed.
