BX seats

Post by Crossbow »

Hi BXers. Two questions. Are the front seats swapable with each other as my drivers seat is a little baggy whereas my passenger seat is good? I have a TZD turbo.

Secondly, where is the X rally being held tomorrow? I know that it is Burleigh House but where's that. I'm in Suffolk.

Regards

The seat bases are removable and very easy to swap over. They are just held by 2 rubber bands.

Seats do not swap. Should be able to get a drivers seat though. I have a spare at least. Mainly as I break the back of the frame. Not made for large men. But you ideally want someone nearer.

The bases are the same, the squabs aren't.

Thanks for all that, I'll have an examination of the squab to see what that is like, I may get away with just swapping the seat bases.

Thanks for all your replies and help.

as said above the base squab's with there plastic trays are swappable, although not only held by two rubber bands but two metal hook type of airfares, that just rap under and partially around the front cross tube of the seat frame, you just push them off of the cross tube with your fingers
