Paint colour identification

Hi Everyone

I'm a new BX owner, 2 weeks now. A couple of questions.

My BX is a TZD Turbo, 1990 G reg in grey metallic. The first question is how can I identify the colour, code or name. I've looked under the bonnet but can't find any code that looks like a paint code. Any clues?

Secondly, the rear spoiler needs removing for painting (hence the above). How is it mounted? I was expecting to find some bolt heads or nuts inside the tailgate but it's not obvious to me. Once again, any advice would be much appreciated.

I love this car. I wanted one when they were knew but it's taken this long for me to get one. I think modern car manufacturers could learn from this car when it comes to ride/handling balance, even Citroen with the Cactus which is a shame.

Usually on inner wing 3 letters. Or poss on the A pillar door hinge side. Or vin plate?

if you send me your chassis/VIN No. i will see if service citroen will oblige, if so i can then send you via a pm. your cars birth certificate,

the reason i say if S/C will oblige is because Citroen seem to be deleting bits and pieces of there data base for older cars

The vin is: VF7XBEK0011EK0878 and the registration is: G 217 XHT

The car was registered in Bristol and I live in Ipswich, Suffolk

Paint code should be on the N/S inner wing, IIRC the bolts for the rear spoiler are inside the tail gate. The bolt holes are covered with a bung I think. They may however not undoe without doing more damage o the spoiler.

The spoiler comes off OK, there are two bolts each side. One or both are Allen or Torx head (I think), and one is very deep inside the access hole. Mine had to come off last year for a new rear screen. Getting one (each side) of them back is a bit fiddly.
