xsara VTS engine any links to the engine fitted in a BX

Hi, as the title really.

Anyone have any links to where this has been done please.. I have access to an engine going begging.

just looking for clues about mountings, swaping the bell housing (to mount the FDV and pressure reg) over if I kept the VTS gearbox ETC, I can transplant the VTS ecu ETC but might not need to as I have a spare stand alone EMS :)

any clues appreciated.

If you started with a BX14 TU it wouldn't be that hard. TU mounting points are pretty common. You'd need to fabricate an engine mounting bracket and a custom downpipe, plus rig up a
n injection supply system. Wiring-wise, run a standard Saxo single plug system as fitted to earlier cars, and make sure the immobiliser's unlocked. Quite why you'd wanna do it I'm not sure; Less powerful and heavier that a BX 16v lump, yet it'd be marginally quicker that a BX GTI 8v. Be interested to see it done all the same.
