Sometimes you have an idea, and it just.....works!

Took a set of BAH's old wheels down to the local Wheel Specialist along with an idea I had on the toilet. The result:

They look rather good, how many £'s did they cost you?
Im currently doin some SL201 speedlines (pug205 1.6) with a polished rim and centre but sadly doing them myself lots of elbow grease required, 2 finished 1 halfway 1 to do. Dont look too bad for all the effort.

Yeah, diamond cut. Like the rims normally are, only the face of the wheels are too.

Probably. I thought white might suit them most. I'll see what they look like on BAH later. If I don't like them, I'll sell them. If I do, I'll sell one of the standard sets of graphite speedlines. I don't need three sets of wheels

In monetary terms, they'd have been shitloads. Probably around £600 - £700 to do all four, but the wheel place is a customer of mine, so I can work off any bills myself. So in essence, with the cost of my time they've cost the equivalent of £400.

Well the idea worked, but I need convincing on those wheels fitted to that car. I'm not so sure, but I think I prefer the original design.

These would look awesome on a Sport, mk1 of some kind or even a ph1 16v. But on the ph2? I'm not sure, not a red one anyway.

Bugger :(

On that particular car, I think you're right Kitch; originals.

You're not supposed to agree Paul, you're supposed to say "Don't be daft, they really work on that! It's an inspired choice!"
