T piece on top of lhm resevoir

Post by arlever » Mon Jan 18, 2016 10:12 pm

Hello all.
On my bx at the top of the lhm reservoir I have 2 thin clear tubes going into a t piece and then into the reservoir. This t piece is perished and broken. Can anyone tell me where I can get one from please and what the actual name of it is.
Thanks
Andy

Have you tried the Citroen dealer(s)? I bought a similar item only a couple of years back, and you may find something identical is used on the Xantia, C5 or something more recent than the BX,and therefore still available. Worth a punt, also possible to make up a silicone tube replacement. Ensure any plastics are resistant to mineral oil, silicone is fine btw.

I've always just ditched the second pipe (which is just a breather or overflow going into the space in the inner wing) and piped the first one directly into the LHM reservoir cap. I've done at least 150,000 miles in BXs like that with no problems at all.
